How does automated cart recovery work?+
When a shopper adds items but does not complete checkout, we detect it in real time and trigger a personalized sequence over email, WhatsApp, or SMS reminding them of their cart. The messages are tailored to the shopper and timed for when they are most likely to return.
Does it integrate with Klaviyo and WhatsApp?+
Yes. We orchestrate flows through Klaviyo for email/SMS and an official WhatsApp Business API provider for WhatsApp, so messages are compliant and deliverable. It also works alongside your existing flows rather than replacing them.
How is this different from Shopify’s built-in abandoned checkout email?+
Shopify’s default fires one generic email only after checkout starts. Ours also catches browse and cart abandonment earlier, personalizes channel, timing, copy, and incentive per shopper, and runs a multi-touch sequence, which is why recovery rates are materially higher.
Will it hurt my margins by discounting too much?+
No. Incentives are conditional and tiered: many shoppers convert on a simple reminder with no discount at all, and discounts escalate only when needed. You set guardrails per segment so high-margin and repeat customers are not handed unnecessary coupons.
How do you avoid spamming customers?+
